Ken was born in Fullerton, CA and raised in Placentia along with his younger brother. He attended El Dorado High School, where he was a three-year member of the golf team. Ken continued his education at Cal Poly Pomona, earning his Bachelors Degree in Finance, Real Estate, Law. While there, Ken was an active member of the business club, serving as its president in his senior year. He currently resides in Irvine, a short commute to his office, which is located near the John Wayne Airport. Ken is active with Canine Companions for Independence, raising and training young dogs to later assist individuals with disabilities. Through his involvement with this group, he acquired his own black Labrador named Gansel, who failed the final "boot camp" due to his overly-friendly personality.

Ken enjoys traveling, golfing, and reading business literature. His favorite short trip, therefore, is a drive to the Palm Springs area, where he can golf and later relax with a copy of The Wall Street Journal to keep up with the latest financial news.
